Napoli attacker Piotr Zielinski says they paid for their wayward finishing in last night's Europa League draw with AZ Alkmaar.
It means Napoli must get a result in the final game against Real Sociedad to be sure of reaching the final 32.
“We created chances, but could've done more and finished them better," Zielinski told Sky Sport Italia.
“It's a pity, we wanted to win at all costs, but it was not a simple game.
"I think today we weren't clinical enough in front of goal. That is a weakness, because we've had other matches where we wasted opportunities and ended up with draws or even defeats. We need to improve that."
He added: “I try to give my best wherever I am placed, but I have played more and feel better in a three-man midfield on the left. That's where I started, it's what I am accustomed to, but I am always ready to change if it will help my teammates."
