Napoli have expressed interest in Fiorentina striker Christian Vieri.

Controcampo says indications are that 34 year-old Vieri will not be signing a new deal with Fiorentina at the end of this season.

Roma, on recommendation of skipper Francesco Totti, have been in touch, but it is Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis who has made the most concrete approach thus far.
