Arsenal are set to lose Nacho Monreal in the summer.

The versatile defender, who can play left back and centre-back, will be out of contract.

News had circulated in January that Arsenal would extend his deal be a year, exercising a club option.

However, Spanish publication Sport claims the former Osasuna man wants a return to his homeland.

The report says 33-year-old Monreal would be open to serving as a back-up for Jordi Alba at Barcelona.
