N’Doye to use Hull experience to lead Sunderland to safety

New Sunderland signing Dame N'Doye believes his experience in relegation battles will help him save the Black Cats' season.

The 30-year-old Senegalese striker scored five goals in Hull City's unsuccessful attempt at staving off relegation last term and feels that will hold him in good stead this time around as Sunderland look to move out of the bottom three.

"It's good to be back," he said.

"I'm sure it will help that I was at Hull in the battle. We had some good players there, but we also have them here, so we have to make it count this time.

"I would like to stay at Sunderland, establish myself here and help keep us in the Premier League."

After arriving at the Stadium of Light in January on loan from Trabzonspor, N'Doye made his debut after coming on as a substitute against Manchester City.
