Vitaliy Mykolenko admits his Ukraine teammates helped him decide to join Everton.

The fullback left Dynamo Kyiv for Everton at the beginning of the month.

He recalled: "Now my dream is coming true.

"I spoke with (Oleks) Zinchenko and (Andriy) Yarmolenko before the move, they both told me that the Premier League is a very difficult league, you need to go out for every match as if it were the last.

"It is important to be mentally prepared. Zinchenko noted that it is important to recover after each match due to the very busy schedule in England. Of course, I took all the advice very seriously."
