My relationship with LVG is ‘normal’ - Man Utd defender Rojo

Marcos Rojo has made it clear that there are absolutely no problems between he and Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

The Argentine appeared to have issues with the Dutchman earlier in the campaign after he was unable to travel to the USA for the club's pre-season tour because of visa issues.

Rojo did not feature in any of United's opening seven matches but has fought back to win a starting spot in the last six outings and insists there is nothing untoward regarding his relationship with van Gaal.

"It is normal, as with any other coach," he told ESPN.

"I don't ask him why he includes me in a game when I play, so I don't have any right in asking him why I don't play when he decides that I don't have to do it. It's as simple as that.

"Van Gaal does the same as any coach in the world. He decides who plays according to what he sees during the week, he chooses the players that he sees in the best condition and we have to accept all the decisions that the coach takes."
