Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray has penned a new contract.
Palace boss Alan Pardew has confirmed Murray signed a new one-year contract extension.
After signing Shola Ameobi on a free transfer today, Pardew now has six forwards to choose from.
"We have a nice little combination there in Marouane Chamakh and Yaya Sanogo, but then we have Dwight Gayle banging on the door and also Glenn Murray, who has agreed another year's contract to stay, plus Fraizer Campbell.
"There is a lot of competition and they need to play well."
