Murphy rates Spurs striker Kane ahead of Liverpool star Firmino

Ex-Liverpool star Danny Murphy believes Harry Kane would replace Roberto Firmino in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI.

Kane could look to leave Tottenham if their early season struggles continue.

Speaking on Drivetime on talkSPORT, Murphy said: "Would Liverpool and Man City fans take Harry Kane now?

"I think Harry Kane would get in Liverpool's team ahead of Firmino. He would score more goals.

"I love Firmino, but he's not Harry Kane.

"And with Aguero being nearly 32, I think Man City fans would welcome Harry Kane with open arms.

"Are Spurs going to make the top four? I don't think so. Are they going to win the Champions League? No.

"What would he cost? That's another question.

"It could be a world record, he's got a phenomenal goal record."
