Mrowiec wants chance to prove Hearts credentials

Hearts midfielder Adrian Mrowiec is desperate to prove himself at Tynecastle. "I'm training with the team and I try to do everything but I know it's not the same as when I came here," said Mrowiec of his fitness fight.

"I felt better when I came here. I need time. I'm trying but it's not the same.

"My position is midfield and I can play defence and now I see I can play forward!

"I have played it before, it's nothing new, but it is difficult. And, after injury, I don't feel the same.

"My contract is finished here on May 31 and after that we will see. I want to stay here, I am telling everyone I want to stay. I don't want to go back to Kaunas.

"It's not my decision - it is up to the gaffer. We must talk about it because I want to stay."
