West Ham United moved up to fourth on the Premier League table with a 2-0 win over relegation battlers Norwich City.

Jarrod Bowen was the hero of the night after scoring goals on either side of half-time.

The Englishman fired West Ham into the lead three minutes before half-time by nodding home Vladimir Coufal's inviting cross.

David Moyes' side were far from their best but managed to hold onto all three points when Bowen wrapped things up with seven minutes remaining.

This time Bowen met Arthur Masuaku's cross to finish past Tim Krul.

Dean Smith would have been disappointed from Norwich's performance as they mustered just one good chance for the match.

The Canaries are bottom of the Premier League table, three points behind 17th-placed Watford.

West Ham are in fourth spot on 37 points after 21 games, with Arsenal two points behind with one game in hand.

Asked about being in the top-four, Moyes told BBC Sport: "We have to try and keep it going. I don't think being fourth this moment in time means an awful lot apart from showing we have been consistent.

"As long as we are around the mix and European places, that will be really good but if we can hang on the coat tails of teams above...that is what we will try and do."
