Fellaini has two years left on his contract with the Chinese club, but he may be tempted to return to a top European league.

Moyes and Fellaini have a lot of history together, as Moyes managed Fellaini at Everton before signing him at Manchester United.

The Hammers are close to signing Gedson Fernandes for central midfield, while they are also being linked with Genk's Sander Berge and Joe Allen from Stoke City.
