Everton boss David Moyes admits he cocked-up in their 1-1 draw with Stoke City.
After his side's equaliser, and keen to ensure maximum points were garnered at home, Moyes brought on Yakubu and Jo for Osman and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov. But he admitted his decision hadn't helped the quest for a winner.
"Obviously when you don't take three points at home, against a side you are hoping to do that against, then you become disappointed," he told evertonTV.
"But we just didn't have the players available to make lots of changes and today that was it. We needed a little bit more craft on the field that we didn't have available to us.
"I don't think (my decision) helped us. I think it was a poor decision by me, we lost our shape. You always look at yourself first and I didn't think today that worked."
