Mowbray confident of West Brom future

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is confident of his future at the Hawthorns.

Mowbray said: "I don't ask for any assurances and I haven't been given any, so it's not really a question to answer.

"I don't go home, sit and discuss my thoughts. I try to build a team and carry out a philosophy of the best way to run a football club.

"The only way I think for a football club to work is to have a long-term plan of where they want to go and then try to follow it through.

"Then, when the chairman or owners of clubs think that is derailed, they will make changes and they are well within their rights to do that. As coaches and managers, if you don't know where you're going you're in trouble.

"I think it's the same for owners as well. If you don't know where you're going and you're jumping from one train to another, you are just hoping you're going to get it right."
