Moussa Sissoko says he's joined Tottenham to win the Premier League.
Sissoko joined Spurs from Newcastle in a deal that could eventually be worth £30million.
He told the London Evening Standard: “I came here to help them so I hope we have a great season and finish top of the league. They played very well all last season.
“Maybe in the last three or four games they had some problems but they still did well, and they are in a good position because this is a young squad and they can progress.
“I have said for a long time that I wanted to play in the Champions League, which is why I came to this big club. I am very happy and proud to be here and I hope we have a great season."
Sissoko made his debut in Saturday's 4-0 win at Stoke, coming on as a second-half substitute with the match long since won. He added: “At the beginning it was a little bit hard for us but we controlled the game in the end. I hope we can do the same against Monaco on Wednesday."
