Mouscron eyeing Tottenham assistant manager Joao Sacramento

Tottenham assistant manager Joao Sacramento is a target for Mouscron.

Le Soir says the side at the bottom of the Belgian First Division are looking for a new manager after sacking Fernando Da Cruz at the weekend.

Sacramento has been in the Spurs job less than a year after joining when Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino last November, but could now be on his way to Belgium.

Sacramento previously worked under the sacked Mouscron coach, Da Cruz, during a caretaker period in at French club Lille.

Mouscron are rock-bottom of the league in Belgium and have yet to win any of their nine games in the competition.

They have drawn three and lost six already, having come a respectable tenth last season.
