Everton are readying a £20million offer for Manchester United's Juan Mata, according to reports.

The Sun is of the belief that Jose Mourinho is planning to again offload the Spanish playmaker having sold him to United in January 2014 when in charge at Chelsea.

It is understood that a cashed up Everton are showing considerable interest in Mata and could make a genuine move in the coming weeks.

Mourinho has reportedly told the 28-year-old he has no future at Old Trafford which has alerted new Toffees boss Ronald Koeman who is believed to be very keen to pounce.
