Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho admits he's a fan of Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe.

In a wide-ranging interview with L'Equipe, Mourinho has given his thumbs up to a United move for Pepe.

Having watched Lille on a number of occasions in the last five months, Mourinho was asked whether Pepe would be the sort of player he would like to sign at his next club.

The Portuguese responded: "I do not know what is my next club! But everyone knows that he is a quality player, in the making.

"He played almost every game, [and] was decisive for his team."
