Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho handed his players a break after their dramatic win over Newcastle United.

The Metro says Mourinho rewarded his Manchester United team with an extra day off after their dramatic win over Newcastle on Saturday, according to reports.

The international break means Manchester United now have an 11-day break, with those not on duty expected to be back at Carrington on Tuesday.

And Mourinho has allowed these players an extra day off as a reward for their brilliant performance against Newcastle.

The players who won't be representing their countries include Anthony Martial, Chris Smalling and Juan Mata.
