Jose Mourinho wants Tottenham to go for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare.

L'Equipe says Mourinho will move for the 20-year-old Frenchman next month.

Soumare has played 23 times in all competitions for Lille, who are fourth in Ligue 1, this season but has not scored.

He plays the role of a midfield anchor, rather than appearing in an advanced position.

When Mourinho arrived at Tottenham in November, he poached two members of the French side's coaching staff in No 2 Joao Sacramento and goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos.
