Jose Mourinho says he's proud of his record at Real Madrid.

During the first two years of Mourinho's reign, it coincided with Barcelona's era under Pep Guardiola where the Catalan side achieved plenty of success, playing a style of football that was diametrically opposed to that of the Portuguese.

"People sometimes forget [my successes] because the Champions League is worldwide," Mourinho said to beIN SPORTS.

"But we won the Spanish cup and the league with a record 100 points.

"To get 100 points you need to win matches - a lot of matches - and [we achieved] the record for goals scored.

"And when people tell a lie many times - some people think it's true but it's a lie.

"You can tell a lie one thousand times but it's still a lie.

"With Madrid, we have the record for goals scored in Spanish football."
