Former Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says his old team looks unhappy.

Mourinho made the observation after Real's defeat to Barcelona on Saturday.

He said: "It was not a happy performance. It was not the performance of a happy team. It was not the performance of a team with a lot of faith and self-esteem. They are going through a bad series of results, especially during the match in the Copa del Rey, and they are currently in a trough.

"Real does not seem able to find the intensity in the very big games. They were passive. They could not bring to the game what I used to call the temperature of big games. They were passive. I do not want to talk about a bad performance, but it's not their best performance. I think it's just a too soft performance."
