Mourinho made beeline for Leicester winger Gray after Spurs win

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho made a beeline for Leicester City winger Demarai Gray after Sunday's victory.

The London Evening Standard says Tottenham have followed Gray since his days at Birmingham, where he made his debut as a 17-year-old in October 2013. He moved to Leicester in January 2016 when his £3.75million release clause was triggered.

Reports ahead of the weekend claimed Spurs were again looking at Gray, who has fallen out of favour under Brendan Rodgers and could be available on a cut-price deal with the 24-year-old out of contract next summer.

Gray was a half-time substitution on Sunday with Leicester City 3-0 down and Mourinho was pictured talking to the former England Under-21 international at full-time.

Spurs have made Southampton's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - the subject of a £25m bid from Everton last week - a key target so it remains to be seen if the funds are available for two young midfielders.
