Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has promoted Aiden Barlow to first team training.

The Manchester Evening News says Barlow was promoted to first-team training ahead of the Manchester derby as Romelu Lukaku also trained with his teammates.

The 18-year-old impressed for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League game against Juventus on Wednesday scoring a penalty which ensured Nicky Butt's side shared the spoils.

Lukaku was also back with his team-mates having missed the trips to Bournemouth and Juventus with an injury he picked up after the win against Everton where he was dropped to the bench.

Mourinho was asked if Lukaku would be back in the squad for the trip to the Etihad in his pre-match press conference.
