Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho says he knows what the North London derby means to fans.
Spurs meet Arsenal tomorrow for Mourinho's first derby as manager.
He said, "It is always a different feeling to go from club to club, but I learn that feeling very quickly. I venture to say that I learn it badly and I set foot in the new club.
"So, yes, I am one more of them. What's important for fans is also important for me. When I coached Inter, I knew what it meant for them. When I coached Real Madrid, I knew what it meant for them. Being coach of Tottenham I know what it means for them. They count on me to feel the same as they do, the same desire and the same passion that they have.
"When you coach a certain team, it can't be just a job for you. You have to have a sense of duty and a responsibility towards people who love your club. For me, my club, my passion and my love are the club where I am."
Mourinho added: "Right now, if you ask me if I know how important it is for Tottenham fans to defeat their biggest rivals, of course I do and of course I share it."
