Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to see Paul Pogba sold this month - if a deal can be done for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

If the Serb can be signed from Lazio before Thursday's Premier League deadline, Mourinho will sanction the sale of Pogba to Barcelona.

Il Messaggero says Mourinho has enlisted his agent, Jorge Mendes, to negotiate terms with Lazio president Claudio Lotito for Milinkovic-Savic.

Mendes is close to Lotito, which Mourinho hopes will see discussions accelerate in the coming hours.

If a deal can be struck, the United manager will then be happy to see Pogba sold - with the European transfer deadline not closing until the end of the month.

Barca have already had one offer of €50m cash plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for Pogba rejected by United in the last 24 hours.
