Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has praised Arsenal for signing Lille striker Nicolas Pepe.

Mourinho admits he's a big fan of the Ivorian.

He said, “Last season I didn't want to come to English stadiums after being sacked at United and I went to Lille many times.

“So, I know Pepe quite well, I think he's a very, very talented player.

“But there is always a question mark in the time you need to adapt.

“Come to England, French spoken, African boy, grew up in France.

“A question mark in relation to the time of his adaptation but obviously a kid with a lot of talent.

“I think he is potentially a very good signing for Arsenal."
