Mourinho blows fuse: That's NOT my Chelsea scouting report!

Jose Mourinho is furious over claims a published Chelsea scouting report is connected to him.

An extraordinary tactical analysis of Barcelona was complied for Mourinho while he was in charge at Stamford Bridge ahead of their Champions League last-16 clash with the Spanish giants in 2006.

Mourinho based much of his Chelsea planning for the two legs against Barca on the detailed breakdown of the La Liga club, at the time managed by Frank Rijkaard.

But Mourinho has moved quickly to maintain he was not the author of the controversial document.

He told The Sun: "I am sorry to disappoint those I think I wrote the reports, but I did not.

"The reports are not mine. I did not write them.

"The last report I wrote I have it at home. I was in Barcelona and this was in the 1999/2000 season.

“I was assistant and I shared with other colleagues the responsibility of analysing and preparing documents about our opponents for the manager.

“Since I arrived at Benfica and until now my analysis never became official reports, but key ideas that helped me to prepare the training work and the matches planning.

“Official reports were always done by analysts, assistants and computer technicians, but never by me."

A source close to Mourinho said the former Porto, Inter, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager was extremely angry about suggestions he was the author.
