New Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho hopes to sign Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder. The People says he asked Blues owner Roman Abramovich to sign the Dutchman before his return to west London was confirmed.
Sneijder played for Mourinho at Inter Milan and the pair won the Champions League together in 2010.
A source close to the Chelsea manager said: "Mourinho has asked Abramovich to get him Sneijder."
