England star Mason Mount has become the first Chelsea player to talk about rumours linking the club with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese striker is likely to leave Manchester United after the World Cup, with the club exploring canceling Ronaldo's contract for misconduct.
Ronaldo was heavily linked to Chelsea in the summer, but no transfer materialised.
“How do you feel about rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo going to Chelsea?" a Portuguese journalist asked Mount.
“Listen, I'm away on international duty and with England at the moment so that's all I'm focusing on," he responded.
“I've just played my first World Cup game, I'm not really thinking about too much else. And that experience I've just had is something that I dreamed of as a kid."
