Motherwell winger Chris Humphrey admits he would welcome a call-up to the Scotland squad. The 21-year-old has been earning rave reviews this season and his eye-catching displays are understood to have not gone unnoticed by the Scotland coaching staff.
Humphrey is Jamaican but is eligible to play for Scotland due to the fact his mother was born in Kilmarnock.
Levein is set to name an experimental squad for next week's friendly with the Faroe Islands and Humphrey is flattered to be linked with a move into the international fold.
"I am flattered to be mentioned with a call-up for Scotland but I haven't heard anything and I am just focused on doing well for Motherwell," Humphrey told skysports.com.
"I have improved a lot as a player and I want to continue that improvement under the gaffer and Archie Knox and repay the faith they have shown in me."
