Motherwell goalkeeper Darren Randolph is of the belief that manager Stuart McCall should be targeted by English clubs.
The former Bradford City boss has not really figured whenever clubs across the border have been in the frame for a new manager and Randolph feels it is a crying shame that the Fir Park gaffer has not received the plaudits he deserves.
"It really surprises me," he said prior to Sunday's 3-2 win over St Johnstone.
"That's the feeling in the changing room when managers have been linked with other jobs, that it was a bit strange, considering ours hasn't been linked with any.
"His CV and what he has done with this club since taking over is incredible, especially with the size of squad we have because of the resources he's had to work with.
"He's got in the right players and got us playing good football so I thought he would be top of the pecking order for any jobs down south."
