Chelsea winger Victor Moses is happy to give up Olympic participation in favour of a pre-season under new manager Antonio Conte.
The 25-year-old has failed to live up to the expectations ever since signing for the Blues from Wigan Athletic in 2012, but he is hoping to reignite his career under the tutelage of Conte.
Veteran midfielder John Obi Mikel has opted to answer the invite to represent Nigeria as one of their three over 23 players but Moses is intent on impressing Conte this summer.
"I am lucky doing my pre-season here," he told the club's official website.
"With a new manager I want to show my talent and that I am willing to play for the team, but at the same time I wish Nigeria the best and I hope they make the nation proud."
