Mortiz Leitner says Norwich City will continue to fight in every game this season.

The Canaries grabbed their first points of the season in Saturday's 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Carrow Road.

Leitner was immense against Toon and the German has promised to continue delivering for the recently promoted club.

"We always have to work hard, especially in our first home game we wanted to show our supporters that we are here and we are fighting for them - not to just put in a good performance, to win, we want to get points in every game," the German said.

"The first game at Liverpool, maybe we had some good scenes and also played some nice football but we stood there with nothing.

"We stand (after the Newcastle game) with three points and that's why we play football."
