Morgan admits he needs to consider Leicester future

Wes Morgan admits he needs to consider his future at Leicester City.

Morgan faces an uncertain future at the club as he waits to see the extent of the injury he suffered in the FA Cup win over Wigan.

Morgan damaged a groin muscle during only his sixth start of the campaign and, with Leicester interested in signing a centre-back this month, the 35-year-old's opportunities may be limited in the remainder of the season.

He said: "I am at the age where I have to think about next season. First and foremost it is how I feel and if I can still compete at this level.

"I think I have proven and shown I can. It is dependent on what the club want to do and what I want to do moving forward.

"This season I am just trying to concentrate on staying fit and being available for selection and showing the manager what I can do.

"During the spells I have played I feel like I have done well and I definitely feel like I am fit and strong enough to go another season if it was offered to me."
