Moratti urges Inter Milan to go for Barcelona captain Messi: It's feasible

Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti believes the Nerazzurri have a big chance of prising Lionel Messi away from Barcelona this summer.

Messi has hit out at Barca's board on multiple occasions this season, the latest being in a statement confirming the players were prepared to accept pay-cuts during the coronavirus suspension.

Moratti told Radio RAI: "I don't think it's forbidden, absolutely. It wasn't even before this misfortune. Messi is at the end of the contract, it would take an effort from the club to bring him home but it is feasible."

He also commented: "The cards have been cleared, now we have to understand how it will start again. We will see some strange things in the coming months.

"Lautaro? A very good boy, he cares about his career and he shows it every day. But we'll see if maybe he won't be used to bring someone like Messi home."
