Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata believes Antonio Conte was frustrated with the lack of control he had during his two seasons in charge.
Morata, speaking with Gazzetta dello Sport, spoke of his relationship with his former manager.
He stated, “Antonio is a person who likes to keep a level of control at a club, and maybe at Chelsea it wasn't like that.
“And when you start having problems at the top it's inevitable it'll start filtering down. It's not right to talk about these things though.
“He was my Coach, I can only thank him and wish him the best for the future… as long as we aren't opponents."
