Monza GM Adriano Galliani is confident Andrea Pirlo will be a success at Juventus.

Pirlo was surprisingly appointed new coach of Juve after Saturday's sacking of Maurizio Sarri.

Galliani said, "He will do very well at Juventus, I congratulated him. He was a coach when he played and the pitch doesn't betray."

The former AC Milan GM admits he has long regretted allowing Pirlo to leave for Juve.
