Monza coach Palladino on Juventus shock: Berlusconi couldn't believe it!

Monza coach Rafaelle Palladino admits he's shocked by their stunning 1-0 win against Juventus.

Christian Gytkjaer struck the winner midway through the second-half.

Palladino, who replaced Giovanni Stroppa last week, said: "Today was an incredible day, I didn't sincerely expect it. I knew that the team wanted revenge, they proved to be great men, they gave everything, they played with the heart.

"I have no merit. Juventus were in difficulties because we were good at closing the spaces, limiting them, we didn't allow him the dribble, we were intense. The team won this match during the week, training with commitment and intensity.

"The team on the pitch today gave everything, we played with courage. I promised them that in the event of a positive result I would pay the whole team a dinner.

"(President Silvo) Berlusconi called me, he didn't believe it, he complimented us. (Adriano) Galliani too. He was moved. I know there was skepticism about me and it was right because I only coached the Primavera, for this reason I want to thank the President and Galliani because they made me live a dream."
