Monza chief Galliani: Media ignoring Serie A leaders AC Milan

Monza chief Adriano Galliani has hailed Serie A leaders AC Milan.

The former Milan GM says his old club deserve greater recognition for their form.

He said, “Milan have been on top of the Serie A table for the last 16 matchdays, I don't think I read it in any newspaper.

“After the lockdown there were twelve games and Milan finished that round of games on top of the table. Now they've won every game in Italy and Europe."

“I don't know what will happen in the future. I am only noticing that Milan have been the Serie A leaders for the last 16 matchdays and I find it strange that none comments on that".

"Ten years ago we won the last derby away at Inter and there we had Ibra as well.

“We won 1-0 and I remember a penalty caused by foul of [Marco] Materazzi. It was identical to that one committed yesterday by [Aleksandar] Kolarov. [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic is extraordinary."
