Montreal want Real Madrid to return to Canada next year.

Real are currently based in the city for the International Champions Cup.

AS says city officials are in talks for Real to return next summer, with a full-strength squad, to play a one-off game.

In 2017, Montreal celebrates the 375th anniversary of its founding.

"We dream big," the city's mayor Denis Coderre stated.
