The Montreal Impact announced on Friday the signing of midfielder Paolo DelPiccolo, pending his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) clearance.

As per league policy, details of the agreements were not disclosed.

DelPiccolo was selected by the club in the second round, 27th overall, in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and has been training with the club since June 3, following a stint in Germany.

He scored once in two MLS Reserve League games with the Impact since then, as well as taking part in the Impact U21 international friendly versus the Haitian national team on June 22, at Stade Saputo.
