Crystal Palace are keen on Montpellier's William Remy.

Foot Mercato is reporting that the Eagles are showing significant interest in the 25-year-old defender.

Remy is contracted with MHSC until the summer of 2018 and could be open to a potential winter departure as he has been used sparingly by Frederic Hantz this season, starting only six times in Ligue 1.

The former Lens and Dijon man, who once trialled at Newcastle United back in 2011, has emerged as a possible option for Palace boss Sam Allardyce how is keen to strengthen his defence this winter.
