Riccardo Montolivo has spoken more of his decision to pull out of new contract talks with Fiorentina.
Interviewed after Italy's 5-0 victory over the Faroe Islands last night, Montolivo was asked to respond to the club's criticism of his agent.
"My links with the fans and the city are not up for debate, but the contract extension is another question," he told Rai Sport.
"We are talking about a decision that's relative to my future, so there is need of time to evaluate every aspect of it.
"My actual deal lasts until June 2012, so there is a long time to think about it."
When asked if Fiorentina remain his preferred destination, Montolivo said: "I repeat, we need time to evaluate every aspect."
