Vincenzo Montella says he has no regrets over his coaching approach.
Montella insists he was happy to always take risks during his time in charge of the likes of Fiorentina and AC Milan.
He told RAI Sport: “I believe that a coach must always have the desire to get involved, to take risks and I have never lacked that.
"Then of course I could have made mistakes, but that wasn't what always happened. I think of Florence where I launched Castrovilli and Vlahovic, but also Sottil, who was growing well, and Ranieri.
"Or to Milan where I entrusted a starting shirt to the young Locatelli preferring him to a veteran like Montolivo.
"Then there is sometimes dealing with realities that have different ideas, but I do not deny anything of what was done in the past.
"Where did I have most fun? In Catania at the beginning of my career where I found a team, built by Lo Monaco, that suited my football ideas."
