Sevilla sports chief Monchi was delighted for Luuk de Jong after his struck in yesterday's derby victory over Real Betis.

The Dutch striker has struggled for goals so far this season, though produced the winner on Sunday for the 2-1 triumph.

Afterwards, Monchi smiled: "He is a cool frog, I have a lot of confidence in him. Sooner or later you know that his goals are going to arrive. If I had to sign him again, I would have done so."

De Jong also remarked: "It was a good match of ours. It was a great goal for me and for the team. This game is always special, grabbing the three points was important.

"I am always committed to the team. I will continue to think about this great moment for the time being."
