Monchengladbach midfielder taking on Chelsea brother Hazard for end-of-season dinner

Thorgan Hazard has revealed he and his two brothers are involved in a competition to see who scores the most goals and provides the most assists this season.

The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder says he and his siblings Eden, of Chelsea, and Kylian, at Hungarian club Ujpest, are up against each other in a contest which sees the loser pay for dinner and drinks at season's end.

Thorgan is currently losing the bet but is determined to fight back in the final few months of the campaign in a bid to avoid the ignominy of having to splurge on his brothers.

"We have a competition every year also with my other brother who plays in Hungary," Thorn told the Set Pieces.

"It's a simple one, too – the player with the fewest goals and assists at the end of the season buys dinner for the other two brothers.

"I need to score and give assists because I don't want to pay. For the moment it's a big competition between us."

25-year-old Eden leads with two goals and eight assists, 20-year-old Kylian is next with four goals and four assists while 22-year-old Thorgan narrowly trails on three goals and four assists.
