Adrien Silva has paid tribute to Leicester City and their fans after leaving for AS Monaco.

The Portugal international joined Monaco on loan on Deadline Day, ending a torrid 18 months at the King Power Stadium in which he failed to establish himself.

“Glad for the honour of fighting for our crest," the 29-year-old wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you, Blue Army, for all the support you gave me. Once a fox, always a fearless fox."
