AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been impressed by Barcelona pair Nico Gonzalez and Gavi.

In a tough season, the emergence of Nico and Gavi has been a bright spot for the fans.

Former Barca star Cesc said, "Gavi's great game defensively. To teach all the kids that age doesn't matter if you have a great attitude and determination. Above even individual talent, today's coach this is what he values the most."

On Nico, he added: "Not everything is the ball and giving assists or scoring goals. Today was a day to work, fight and win. The number of kilometers that has been hit up and down helping in defence and high pressure it has been spectacular."
