Monaco midfielder Cesc hails Spurs boss Mourinho: But Pep? Nothing...

AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has taken a swipe at his former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.

While stating he still gets along well with Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho after their time together at Chelsea, Cesc insists he has no contact with Manchester City manager Guardiola.

He said on Cataluyna Radio: "(Mourinho) was the one who inspired me the most when I left Barça. He told me that we fought on the field, that it ended there, and he told me about his project. I prioritised the professional and today I continue to write to him and I consider him a friend, he helped me a lot at the time."

In contrast, he affirms that “with Pep , nothing. There are things that happened that I don't have to talk about".

Even so, he admits that "he was my idol in my childhood, perhaps he is the person from whom I have learned the most, as a player, as an idol and later as a coach and that's it".
