AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas feels for Thierry Henry after his dismissal last week.
The former Chelsea midfielder joined the Ligue 1 side this January as Henry tried to hatch a plan to pull out of the relegation zone.
But Henry was sacked after just 104 days in charge of Monaco, with former boss Leonardo Jardim replacing the Arsenal legend at the helm.
Fabregas was asked for his thoughts on the board's decision to let Henry go given the fact he just agreed to play under him.
He said: "Football doesn't wait for anyone. Unfortunately, maybe he didn't have the right time to make all his plans. Now we are in a new situation."
